Can someone tell me how I can change file type icons in XP after I have replaced an XP app with the one I want to use?! ie, I prefer to use Winamp for music playing and so I changed the file association from the XP default to Winamp. I managed to change that back to VirtualDub, but the VLC icon is still shown against all AVI files. And the File Types list still refers to VLC as the default program for this type. Even though d-clicking an AVI does now open it in VirtualDub. I couldn't find any settings in VLC itself to change file types.

Apache File Type Icons Won't Appear
I tested the backup by opening Backup in System Tools and picking a folder in my desktop machine to backup with a "copy" type backup. It looked OK on my CP laptop. Then I went back and tested Restore by picking one of the files in the folder. It copied the file back on to the w98 machine but the icon was different.

One of the columns on the Library is "FileType" (ie. doc, xls, etc.). Instead of displaying the text of the FileType, I would like to display an Image corresponding to "FileType".
